“While I was riding a horse last year, I started having pains in my abdomen. In the process of diagnosing a gall bladder attack, the doctors discovered that I had multiple myeloma.

It just shows that things happen for a reason. That’s the way God lines things up in our lives.

I was diagnosed on Sept. 6, 2010, and I’m finished with both of my transplants. I’m here today to get set up on maintenance.

You just have to pray, fight and keep up your hope. He does answer prayers.”
