Stephen Panther | Multiple Myeloma survivor

“I had just lost my mom to cancer, and while I was attending her funeral I started having chest pains. The doctor said I had pneumonia and that there were problems with my blood indicating myeloma.

We wanted a second opinion so we came to UAMS, and we never left. I’ve been in remission since after my first stem cell transplant. Today we head back home for three months.

I’m looking forward to getting back to gardening, fishing and spending time with my kids and grandkids.”

The Multiple Myeloma Institute is without a doubt the best place to be for Multiple Myeloma. The doctors are amazing as well as all the nurses and staff at Infusion 4.  Being away from home is very difficult, but these people treat you just like family!
